Safeguarding Policy

QNS Soccer aims to provide a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all participants. This applies to every program, including QNS Pickup, QNS Select, and especially QNS Youth.

Coaches, volunteers, and staff are expected to treat all participants with respect, avoid being alone with a minor outside the presence of other adults or guardians, and report any concern about a participant's safety or wellbeing immediately.

Minors participating in QNS Youth must be registered by a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian should remain reachable during the event. We ask that a parent or guardian be present for drop-off and pickup whenever possible.

If you witness or experience behavior that raises a safety concern — including bullying, harassment, or abuse — please report it as soon as possible to qns.pickup@gmail.com. Reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly.

Coaches and volunteers working directly with youth programs may be asked to complete a background check and safeguarding orientation before participating.
